The full-time salary for this role is $85,000 plus 10% discretionary annual bonus potential. We are serious about your professional growth and this role is expected to be promoted to the director level after about 12 months of successful performance! This is a fully remote full-time role with candidates required to reside in the Eastern Time zone (preferably in Florida, not required) with expected, at minimum, quarterly travel to oversee operations, meeting with facility leaders, provider onboarding, and trainings.
The full-time Clinical Operations Manager role is part of our national team of operations leaders and oversees clinical operations for part of our FL region and participates in the development, planning, and operations for a multi-physician practice to fulfill programmatic directions and goals. This role ensures smooth on-boarding, credentialing, training, and start of new Providers and their implementation into Skilled Nursing Facilities and other healthcare settings. This role directly interfaces with our customers and providers including Physicians, Physician Extenders, Skilled Nursing Facility department heads, and other healthcare setting leaders. The manager reports to Senior Director of Clinical Operations for FL region and Sr. Vice President of Clinical Operations.
Medrina Programs Implementation Responsibilities: In collaboration with Business Development, clinical leadership and other teams, implements existing operations processes, workflows, best practices and protocols for the new client buildings.
Summary of Provider and Facility Relations Responsibilities: Serves as the point of contact between SNFs, healthcare facilities, and medical providers to ensure the smooth implementation of Medrina programs. Participates in implementing new programs, protocols, and methods to track quality metrics and adjust as needed. Works directly with facility leadership and physicians to monitor the success of Medrina programs and improve patient outcomes while maintaining frequent and strong relationships with key personnel in partnering facilities to ensure continuous program growth and success.
Summary of the Operational Performance and Compliance Leadership responsibilities: This role leads operational efficiency by coordinating program development, integrating new initiatives into healthcare settings, and ensuring compliance with regulatory and billing standards. It involves monitoring provider and program performance, implementing technological improvements, and aligning operations with strategic goals while fostering continuous improvement and collaboration.
Quality and Metrics Tracking Responsibilities: Regularly conduct data collection for preparation of reporting related to and forecasting as well as developing and maintaining objectives and policies and procedures to ensure efficient operations. Regularly review program data and trends to identify areas for improvement in clinical performance and operational processes while collaborating with clinical teams to make data-driven adjustments to care protocols and program strategies.
Job Requirements:
1. Minimum 2 years of operational leadership and administrative experience in Skilled Nursing Facilities or Hospital Rehabilitation settings.
2. Minimum of 5 years of experience and understanding of care coordination and Medicare as well as with Medicare and Medicaid billing and reimbursement policies.
3. Associate degree in related healthcare fields.
4. Proficient in healthcare management software (EMR, HMR) and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook)
5. Proficiency with HIPAA and PHI compliant practices.
6. Practice excellent verbal and written communication skills in remote setting and present in a professional manner to various stakeholders.
7. Must be a self-starter who is disciplined, detail-oriented, organized, and able to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
8. Ability to lead and work within multidisciplinary teams.
9. Ability to travel at least quarterly is required.
Physical Requirements:
1. Remote work environment, requiring reliable internet and telephone service and private work area.
2. Minimum Quarterly travel for on-site visits
3. Ability to sit, stand, and walk for extended periods.
4. Ability to lift and move up to 25 pounds.
